Conscious

Conscious explores the struggle of balance through contemporary dance. Throughout this piece ideas of; "Giving is good, taking is allowed, taking too much is greed, to become aware of relativity is the purpose", were used to dive into this theme. From this, innovative movement was created amongst the dancers and choreographer to produce an atmosphere of tentative willingness. Water has been used as a catalyst for this piece, to create cohesive movement qualities and opposing styles, as derived from the possibilities of water. Conscious uses this collection of languages to create a textured narrative in collaboration with QUT Dance Performance students.
